Photolautrec.jpeg

Born into a family of noble lineage, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec studied painting with the animal painter René Princeteau. As a post-impressionist artist, he contributed to the development of many new printing techniques, thus establishing himself as a pioneer of modern printmaking. His paintings deliver the essence of his Parisian life of the time: Montmartre, the Moulin Rouge, the Parisian brothels.
