From August 22 to September 3, Darmo collaborates with Bigaignon, a Parisian photosensitive art gallery. On this occasion, the two galleries offer a solo exhibition of artist Vittoria Gerardi: Latenza. The name echoes the series developed between 2021 and 2022 by the 25 years-old Italian photographer.
In "Latenza", Vittoria Gerardi examines the very nature of photography, light and time, and explores the boundary between the visible and invisible elements that make up that make up a photograph. Through two different different processes, named Lethegraphy and Alethegraphy, Vittoria Gerardi tries to understand the language of the photography, its submerged structure, its hidden face.
Du 22 août au 3 septembre, Darmo collabore avec la galerie Bigaignon, galerie parisienne d’art contemporain photosensible. À cette occasion les deux galeries proposent une exposition personnelle de la talentueuse artiste Vittoria Gerardi, Latenza. Le nom fait écho à la série développée entre 2021 et 2022 par la photographe italienne âgée de 25 ans.
Dans « Latenza », Vittoria Gerardi se penche sur la nature même de la photographie, la lumière et le temps, et explore la frontière entre les éléments visibles et invisibles qui constituent une photographie. À travers deux procédés différents, baptisés Léthégraphie et Aléthégraphie, Vittoria Gerardi tente de comprendre le langage de la photographie, sa structure immergée, sa face cachée.
